The Family That Adventures Together, Stays Together

Our family adventure story began in 2011 at the Summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We were both competing in the world-renowned Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Above all, we had been chasing trophies, but we actually found something way cooler.

However, Arizona is now our home base for our family adventure weekends. It’s been eight years and two kiddos later, and after a few job changes… we are now out of the trenches. We love being able to fill our weekends with adventure again. Our passion has shifted from motorsports focused, to just exploring, finding adventure, being outside, and most of all – being together. After our first weekend camping, there was no going back. Now, we love watching as our boys’ passion for the outdoors grows. We are committed to teaching them how to recreate responsibly.

Our boys are six and four, Valentin is an engineer and in addition, Savannah works in marketing. This blog is a place for us to share our unique combination of tips and tricks for traveling with kiddos and our DIY approach to engineering and building our rigs.
